Benefits of UTC membership include:

P2P Forum Series - These forums, led by industry peers, offer the ideal venue for sharing insights, aspirations, and expertise with your colleagues from around the state. At each of these events, you'll have the opportunity to discuss important issues with people who share your challenges and responsibilities. UTC hosts regular P2P Forums for CEOs, CTOs, CFOs, HR, Sales Execs, Marketing Execs and Emerging Execs (start-up companies).

Industry Breakfasts - At these informal gatherings, UTC invite's leading industry and government luminaries to discuss their views on important technology issues. These events also prove to be an outstanding networking opportunity.

Educational Clinics - Top experts provide free advice and one-on-one session for UTC members in these monthly meetings (legal, accounting, PR, marketing, and venture capital).

Life Science Workshops – Meet with the Utah Life Science community for discussions and presentations influencing the industry.

Mixers/Open Houses – UTC hosts casual networking experiences at other UTC members’ locations or UTC headquarters. These are a fun way to come out and network with you peers and potential partners!

Public Policy - UTC truly is the voice of technology and is actively involved in the legislative process to ensure that the interests of the technology industry are represented. UTC's Public Policy Forum carefully tracks and decides support on all legislative bills affecting the technology and business community. The Utah legislature and other government leaders often rely on UTC's Public Policy Forum to provide expertise on tech related bills and issues.

Raising Capital - UTC is leading initiatives to increase capital in the state of Utah. The force behind the $100M Fund of Funds, UTC has taken real action to significantly augment the availability and access to funds. UTC will continue to be involved in efforts to educate and train on fundraising, new initiatives to increase capital, and providing opportunities to foster relationships with venture capitalists.

Committee Involvement – make a difference by working with a UTC Committee on a variety of topics (Communication, Public Policy, Membership, Golf, Quality Workforce, etc)

Roundtable Discussions - These events give Utah CEOs a unique opportunity to discuss and debate key issues with each other and with government and business leaders. In the past, these discussions have included prominent national figures, including the United States Secretary of Labor, U.S. Delegation, Utah Governors and University presidents.

UTC Hall of Fame - UTC holds the premier Utah technology event annually, the UTC Hall of Fame celebration. This event recognizes individuals with Utah ties that have made a significant impact on the technology world. The event also hosts spectacular keynote addresses including: Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google; Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft; Paul Otellini, CEO of Intel; Mark Hurd, CEO of Hewlett Packard. Educational Events - Periodically, special events are held with world thought-leaders for the education and corporate development of UTC members. For example, Dr. Clayton Christensen, Guy Kawasaki, Kim Clark, and others have all delivered thought-provoking messages to the membership.

Annual Members' Meeting
– this gathering of the UTC membership outlines UTC’s success and results of the last 12 months and priorities going forward. Recognition is also presented to the following individuals: CEO, CTO, CFO, HR Exec, Sales Exec and Legislator of the Year. UTC’s annual report is also distributed.
