Utah Information Technology Association (UITA) Appoints Jack Sunderlage, CEO of ContentWatch, New UITA Chairman

UITA Trustees recognize legislators; acknowledge CTO, CEO and Trustee of the Year

SALT LAKE CITY, March 31, 2005 –Jack Sunderlage, CEO of ContentWatch, was named the Utah Information Technology Association’s new chairman at UITA’s Annual Members Meeting today. Sunderlage assumes the position that has been filled by Greg Butterfield, Altiris president and CEO, during 2003 and 2004. He will serve with UITA President Richard Nelson in leading the technology trade association through the initiatives the association will pursue during 2005.

“We give our highest acknowledgement to Greg Butterfield for his willingness to lead UITA’s efforts during a critical phase of his company’s growth,” said Richard Nelson, president of UITA. “Greg’s efforts, and the progress UITA has made during his role as chairman, have been nothing short of spectacular.”

“We are also extremely pleased to announce the appointment of Jack Sunderlage as UITA’s new chairman,” Nelson continued. “In addition to his role as the CEO of a strong and progressive Utah company, Jack has played and will continue to play an integral role in the advancement of critical high tech and community legislation in our state. We are confident that UITA will continue to benefit tremendously from the work and talents Jack Sunderlage brings.”

At the members meeting, UITA also ratified the appointment of six new trustees, including:

Mike Levinthal, Thomas Weisel Venture Partners

UITA gave special acknowledgement to five Utah legislators:

Senator Curtis S. Bramble, Representative Brent H. Goodfellow and Representative John Dougall were each acknowledged as Technology Community Builders. UITA acknowledged Representative David Clark as Legislator of the Year, and House Majority Leader Jeff Alexander was named Technology Community Champion.

UITA also acknowledged three leading Utah executives today:
Tom Ngo, of NextPage, was named Utah CTO of the Year
Greg Butterfield, of Altiris, was named Utah CEO of the Year
Will West, CEO of Control4 Technologies, was named UITA’s Trustee of the Year
