National Information Technology Organization, CRITA, Taps Utah’s Richard R. Nelson as President-Elect


SALT LAKE CITY – August 9, 2005 At its recent semi-annual conference in Toronto, Canada, CRITA (the Council for Regional Information Technology Associations) announced the selection of Richard R. Nelson, president and CEO of UITA (Utah Information Technology Association), as vice president and president-elect of CRITA for 2005-2007.

Created in the mid-1990s, CRITA represents more than 45 IT technology trade organizations in North America with over 15,000 technology-related corporate members.

Over the next two years, the CRITA leadership team will focus on strategically developing vital national public policy initiatives and a 21st century workforce to increase its global competitiveness.
